Ready to Try Something New?

Hello my friends!

I thought I’d try something new today.

It’s been bugging me that my weekly emails have been so visually boring…so I decided to try something new!

I’m often stopped in my tracks by trying some new technology. While I wouldn’t call a newsletter template exactly cutting-edge technology, just the thought of trying to find one and figure it out paralyzed me for some weeks.

So this week, when I opened up my newsletter provider, I decided to try one of the provided templates.

I’ve kind of goofed up a couple times while writing it (on the backend) but here I am, making strides towards improving something that’s been bugging me for a while.

How about you – is there something that you’ve been putting off because it feels too daunting?

Here is what I told myself (self talk) before I started this with you today:

1. I reminded myself that past history tells me I’ve been willing to try new things.

2. I told myself I could figure it out, even if it took a bit of time. (Everything is “Figure-outable” – thanks Marie Forleo!)

3. I went ahead and tried even thought I wasn’t sure how it would work.

So you can use this strategy the next time you are stuck with something too.

–What does your past history tell you? (And make it something true and positive and energy giving.)

–What is the power statement that will get you going – for me, it was the reminder I’ll figure it out.

–Just start! 🙂 Get moving, the momentum will really help you get going.

Your turn…I’d love you to try it, then let me know what you did that you had been stuck on!

Because, as always, I’m…

Cheering you on,

Christy 🙂
